How can I give USD1 directry to the world’s poor?

Even if USD1 is transferred to the wallet with a terminal, there is no house, no electricity, no infrastructure such as water supply and sewerage, and no store where they can pay with a wallet, they cannot save their lives.

This should be a place to discuss them. Would you like to start a discussion about the new finance?

Actually just about everyone has a phone or can get a phone, Africa is the best example of this, even in the poorest communities you will find that most have smart phones and even internet! Though connectivity is appalling, Starlink is bringing good connectivity to Africa! Some people are dirt poor living in a shack, minimal of everything yet they still have phones! I think education on crypto and wallet usage is the real issue! dont worry about electricity, most poor people even living in straw huts (Massai Marra) will at least have solar power for their small devices, they may have to cook over a fire every night but they have phones!

Thank you. How wonderful. I didn’t know. So, technically, it is already possible to distribute USD1 to the poor around the world. The meeting with President Putin has also ended successfully, and I realize that the world is changing towards peace. Today is full of good topics, and it’s a really great day.

Regional differences are stark: Southern and Northern Africa have higher penetration (e.g., 73.1% internet penetration in Southern Africa), while Central Africa lags at around 19% ……..
ok according to this, central Africa lags quite a bit, lower then I believed but rapid adoption and access is happening right now, a few years and these numbers will increase drastically!, However just consider that central Africa is the poorest in the world and even though the statistic shows it’s quite low! lowest in the world, it shows progress! Not exactly everyone but getting there

If it can be delivered to the poorest areas in the world, it is easy to deliver to the needy in the country. I’m sure it will spread faster. Because ordinary people like me can talk like this. Hope is accelerating.

If not as accessible as you would hope it to be today, it will be real soon!

I’m in southern Africa, and mobile, internet access is widespread, it is possible for every adult to have access to crypto but as I say, education in this regard is the real hurdle

Thank you for your reply. I’m in Japan. It is a typical Japanese family. I’m unemployed, but I can live because I get a pension from the government. However, in Japan, there are many children who can’t eat even one meal a day because schools are on summer vacation and there are no school lunches. Both Japan’s politics and business circles are slow to move and the revision of the law is delayed, so the introduction of World Universal Basic Income, which is not sovereign, is likely to be realized in South Africa sooner.

Possibly!

You highlighting the issues in Japan is a little bit surprising, of course poverty is everywhere, but the image I have of Japan is quite high, you are definitely a first world country, with a very high standard of tech and wealth, yet poverty exists!

One major problem with poverty is a “mental” thing, not only social/economic circumstances. Some people cannot rectify their minds for wealth accumulation, many examples of some poor people gaining wealth, even extraordinary wealth! Yet not long they lose/spend it all and fall back into poverty, at this point I believe the “mental” issue of poverty, is the main cause of poverty!

Even in the dirt poorest of areas there will be the business minded and they lift themselves and others out of poverty, while the others cant!, Giving everyone a basic income will definitely help, I think it would definitely benefit the economies as a whole, but many with the “poor” mindset will just sit at that and not lift themselves up with the help they are given!

Capitalism ultimately works because reward and wealth are incentives to “contribute” while the “poor” mindset is just to receive handouts! you are tackling a very complicated and perplex subject! we will see as this digital economy develops, what it will do for all! If it can at least solve the problem of hunger and basic needs worldwide then I guess that is good! But I think most people who are poor will remain relativly poor in comparison to the “capitalist” mind!

Thank you. That’s really true. I think that the spiritual immaturity of society, such as political conflicts, distorts capitalism, and that is the cause and poverty continue to exist. The reason why I bring up this topic on this forum is because I believe that President Trump will encourage him if he knows that there is such communication. Because what remains poverty is no longer a technical problem, but only a political reason. We had a great conversation. Thank you very much.
