# Proposal: USD1 Payments Wallet With WLFI Buyback & Burn

**USD1 Payments Wallet With WLFI Buyback & Burn**

**Proposal**

Develop a dedicated **USD1 wallet for real-world payments** , designed for both consumers and businesses.

Users would be able to hold, send, receive, and spend USD1, while merchants could accept USD1 through QR codes, payment links, e-commerce integrations, and POS systems.

**Motivation**

USD1 adoption can grow significantly if it becomes useful for everyday commerce, not only for transfers and crypto-related activity.

A simple payment wallet could help connect USD1 directly with real goods and services.

**Mechanism**

The platform would charge a small transaction or service fee.

A percentage of the fees generated would be used to:

**Buy WLFI on the open market → Burn the purchased WLFI**

This would create a direct economic link between USD1 usage and WLFI tokenomics.

**Flywheel**

**More USD1 users → More merchants → More payment volume → More fees → More WLFI buybacks and burns**

The exact fee structure and buyback percentage could be determined through WLFI governance.

Pretty much spending it with the Coinbase debit card, but not burning. Perhaps a firmer partnership with the major exchanges, including interest for staking and rewards for spending would help in the immediate time.
