Under securities law, paying a fixed, agreed interest may constitute a violation. Therefore, it may be more appropriate to distribute DeFi yields proportionally based on the staking period.

In favor. I would recommend only paying in USD1 to remove the downdraft of WLFI and therefor create more importance to the governance token.
