“Proposal for DAO-Based Retail Union Nodes and Utility Expansion for WLFI”

Looking at the current system structure being promoted, it appears that there is actually little incentive for individual investors. A staking yield of around 2% per year is not sufficient to attract strong participation. If retail investors are expected to actively participate, several mechanisms are needed.

First, in the upcoming super app, users who hold a certain amount of WLFI tokens should receive benefits such as transfer fee discounts or service usage advantages. The token should not simply be something to hold, but should have real utility within the ecosystem.

Second, under the current structure, node operators are likely to trade tokens mainly through over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, which means there will be relatively little activity in the open market. In such a case, it becomes difficult for the market price to be driven by active supply and demand.

Ultimately, the driving force behind a token’s price comes from active retail participation and market trading. If retail investors are to participate meaningfully, simple holding or a 2% staking return is not enough. They should also have access to higher potential returns and opportunities to participate in new projects within the ecosystem.

Therefore, it would be beneficial for the team to provide a system that allows the creation of DAO-based “retail union nodes,” enabling individual investors to collectively form and operate nodes. This would significantly lower the barrier to entry and allow retail investors to participate in network operations and revenue sharing.

With greater retail participation, market trading activity would increase, and this could naturally create a stronger mechanism for supporting and driving the token’s market value.

Requirements

In the upcoming super app, provide transfer and transaction fee discounts for users holding a certain amount of WLFI tokens.

The team should provide system support for DAO-based retail union nodes, allowing individual investors to collectively participate in node operation and revenue distribution.
