WLFI has believers (of which I am one) and non-believers.
This proposal benefits both:
Once the 2 year cliff is over, linear vesting over 2 years starts. This is now an accepted proposal.
This proposal, if governance vote passes, adds the ability to exit the whole position with a reverse linear penalty.
This allows non-believers to exit early. The penalty for doing so starts at 40%, and decreases to something like 20%.
That is, people can fully exit after the cliff, but a significant percentage of the tokens will be burned.
Those who absolutely need or want to exit can do so, and the rest of us will enjoy WLFI getting burned and thus see more supply off the market forever.
