Why has the circulating supply suddenly increased to 31 billion WLFI when there is absolutely no official documentation explaining it? This is not a minor oversight — it is a fundamental breach of transparency. In any serious financial ecosystem, especially in DeFi, changes to token supply must be communicated clearly, publicly, and with full justification. When the supply jumps by tens of billions without a single article, announcement, or technical note addressing it, the community has every right to question what is happening behind the scenes.
This unexplained increase raises critical concerns:
– Where did these tokens come from?
– Who received them?
– Why was there no disclosure?
– Is this a technical error, a silent unlock, or an intentional adjustment?
– And most importantly: why is the community left in the dark?
At the same time, the current proposal demands that early supporters — the very people who believed in WLFI from the beginning — endure a 2‑year waiting period with zero unlocks before vesting even begins. This structure is not only unreasonable but also disconnected from market reality. Two years in crypto is an entire cycle. Locking early supporters for that long without justification undermines trust and punishes the most loyal participants.
Meanwhile, the supply quietly inflates to 31B without explanation. The contradiction is impossible to ignore.
Because of this, the community should strongly consider revising the vesting structure to something more transparent, fair, and aligned with industry standards. Two alternative approaches make far more sense:
Option 1: Remove the 2‑year cliff entirely
Begin vesting immediately once the proposal is approved.
This maintains long‑term alignment without freezing early supporters for an unreasonable period.
Option 2: Unlock 50% immediately, vest the remaining 50% over 4 years
This approach provides liquidity, reduces psychological pressure, and still ensures long‑term commitment through a structured vesting schedule.
Both options are significantly more balanced than the current plan and avoid creating unnecessary tension between the project and its earliest backers.
WLFI must address the unexplained supply increase and revise the vesting model if it wants to preserve credibility. Transparency is not optional — it is the foundation of trust. Without it, even the strongest ecosystem can collapse under the weight of its own silence.
