WLFI Community Innovation Proposal

Summary

This proposal introduces innovative features to enhance the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) ecosystem, focusing on advanced DeFi tools, community-driven development, and global accessibility. It aims to position WLFI as a leader in decentralized finance by leveraging its existing infrastructure and community support.

Objectives

  1. Launch a Decentralized Yield Farming Platform: Develop a yield farming module integrated with the Aave v3 protocol, allowing WLFI holders to stake tokens and earn rewards in USD1 stablecoin or other assets.
  2. Introduce Cross-Chain Compatibility: Enable WLFI token functionality across Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon to expand user reach and reduce transaction costs.
  3. Implement a Community Innovation Fund: Allocate 5% of the community pool (approximately 15 million WLF1 tokens) to fund community-submitted DeFi projects or partnerships, voted on monthly.
  4. Roll Out a Real-Time Governance Dashboard: Create a user-friendly interface for tracking votes, token unlocks, and treasury decisions, enhancing transparency and engagement.

Implementation Plan

  • Phase 1 (August 2025): Design and test the yield farming module with a pilot group of 1,000 WLFI holders; initiate cross-chain development with Ethereum as the primary network.
  • Phase 2 (September 2025): Launch the community innovation fund with a call for proposals and deploy the governance dashboard beta version.
  • Phase 3 (October 2025): Expand cross-chain support to Binance Smart Chain and Polygon, and evaluate the first round of funded community projects.
