Since launch there has just been an influx of new people, the site has now become pointless with spam just being filtered through. Silly amount of proposals are being made. Mostly all the same. There needs to be some type of administrative action on the governance website.
The only people should be the presale holders and the founders and co founders also the team. Who should be on this website.
The ones who truly believed in wlfi in the start
This is becoming a joke now It is going down hill fast and it is so sad to see
Spam and nonsense posts are indeed a problem, this is fact. Repetition and duplication is natural wherever a collective of likeminded people with similar goals converge. There’s potential to automatically aggregate identical or sufficiently similar proposals. In time that will probably happen, the tech is certainly available. I agree this sould be managed somewhat. But…
Quoting from your proposal:
“The only people should be the presale holders and the founders and co founders also the team. Who should be on this website.”
and
“The ones who truly believed in wlfi in the start”
They are both examples of nonsense proposals in their own right and are aligned with exclusivity and centralization. They could potentially lead to the death of this project. Currently the biggest problem hasn’t been caused by a community proposal or the forum itself. It’s was caused by one of the largest token holders from presale and an advisor to the founding team!
The purpose of this is site is to facilitate discussion, a place to foster innovation and to provide a vehicle for worthy ideas to be weighed and forwarded to vote and action. Its a forum and its strength sits square in transparency, openness and the community’s ability to filter out the nonsense by simply bypassing it or to investigate and gain further understanding. This is reflected in proposals that have near zero engagement and those with heathy constructive discussion.
Excluding newcomers is deneying potential investors “believers”. This would lead to stagnation and a lack of innovation. Out there is someone who has a vision that you and I don’t have. Perhaps its exactly what’s needed for this project to soar. Your proposal seeks to close the gate on the that great innovator and what they potentially bring to the table.
If one is trully committed to the success of and good governance of the project. Then regardless of being a presale investor or newcomer. They will hold WLFI and will put its voting power to good use. Thats the token’s current strength.
Seeing the the same ideas floated, especially ones of low merit is tiring and the perceived lack of movement, frustrating. I get it. But closing this forum off to the world, especially for a project that has a goal that could have profound global impact if successful. This isn’t the way forward.
You have made some extremely good point in there in which I did not think of. Great job.
It is tiring seeing all the endless arguing between people in the general chat. Most of them seem super immature. Then there’s the fud from people which I have noticed some get restricted from commenting further.
It’s like 10 people make the same proposal. If they just read the proposal then there would no need to be that many of the same proposal
(That 10 is just an example) but there are a fair few of the same ones.
Even just a simple management of the forum and proposal will be great. I welcome new investors it is great to see
But they need to understand that someone of trump’s stature did not come along to play games. He came for a big opportunity and a shift of how things are done
Then they suggest to someone with trumps knowledge on how it should be done or what should be happening.
He did not get as rich as he did by taking broke people advice. Thats why they are broke
Most of these in here get a little bit of money and go buy trainers (immature people) they want the quick money. This used to be a place of mature people having real discussions. Now its just a playground for children
I totally agree
The best solution would be a dedicated section for newcomers, people that bought WLFI on CEX or whatever, and the main forum only for pre-sales buyers with a strict identification (wallet, etc)
Otherwise, anyone can come here, FUD, scam … this is more harmful than helpful
Though it can be frustrating having retail or a bunch of new members in the forums, it does promote more discussion and activity. There is a clear issue of spam, begging and scamming though and I believe there is a way to rectify this.
Have all users who sign up connect their wallets via profile or signup process.
This will allow the staff to verify automatically who holds WLFI and who may just be interested in the project.
Users who hold ‘x’ wlfi have access to a sub forum which contains more intimate topics, proposal launching and voting discussions without the spam.
The rest of the users who don’t connect wallets or don’t hold significant WLFI have access to the retail forums for general discussions and project news.
Appoint WLFI ambassadors whom staff share strategic updates or F.A.Q. to help retail and general holders understand what’s going on with the project – how to seek help and support – light moderation perms to remove scam posts and mute unruly users.
Ambassadors can take hot posts from sub forum and highlight them to appear in main forum so both sides of the community are integrated.
This helps clear up misinformation, takes pressure off main staff and promotes WLFI as a well oiled machine who actually cares about their holders.
Ambassadors can weed out the fud and provide a direct middleman to staff for only serious issues and/or exploits and concerns.
We have holders from many different countries and with varying amounts of native tongues. I suggest to allow language select options or a ‘translate’ feature under posts and in general chat, so users can understand one another more easily.
I truly believe these features, coupled with ambassadors bridging the gap with staff will allow this forum to blossom into a community of die hard supporters who can spread the projects ideals and teach new investors about the fundamentals of WLFI.
PS: let me know if you would like me to format this into an official proposal for consideration.
Im not sure about the idea being based around amount of WLFI held as a count of who should be eligible to contribute and where - I feel it should be more based on the content that people share in terms of the comments and posts made… there are plenty of folk with money to burn who have little brain or crypto knowlewdge/experience and are massive trolls, and plenty of folk with very valid and important points for consideration/discussion who make valuable and worthwhile contributions who may not have dug so deep into their pockets to purchase WLFI …. discriminating based on money is not a brilliant idea - deciding who has access to what/where based on the value of their contributions and knowledge does not discriminate in the same way, but rather encourages worthwhile contributions and potentially provides a separate space for such worthwhile contributors - regardless of the depth of their pockets or how much WLFI they hold…
