I’d like to propose an improvement to secure our forum and ensure high-quality discussions.
Currently, the forum is open to everyone, which unfortunately allows some malicious users to verbally attack $WLFI holders. This harms the community atmosphere and distracts from the forum’s main purpose: bringing members together around the project.
Proposal:
Limit forum access to $WLFI holders only, using two possible methods:
The forum being open to non-holders is actually specified in the Gold Paper. The Discord has areas that are only open to verified holders, if you aren’t a member there I’d recommend joining:
So the scammer cannot buy $1wlfi and enter the forum as a holder? Sometimes we should stop and think 1st. Alot of silly stuff coming in these forums. Like people are dumb. I was expecting total alpha in this space! The crem de la creme so to speak. Does not leave optimism in the air, rather, scepticism! Just out of curiosity. Are there any mods or officials in here? At all, or ever? Anyone from the project? Any officials? Or is it just us? The ‘community’?
I totally agree with this. The ones who really matter here are the actual holders of the project’s currency, and they should be the ones who stay within the forum. An open forum doesn’t really help, since the internet is full of scammers and haters.
To keep the project and the community healthy, the coordination team should step in soon — otherwise this could have a negative impact on tomorrow’s votes.
As for users who would like to participate in the forum but are not verified holders (e.g. have not completed KYC), there could be a practical solution: create separate channels. Some channels could remain open for everyone, while others would be locked and accessible only to verified holders. This way, all users can join the discussion, but only verified holders would have the right to vote in future consultations.
It’s also worth noting that scammers and haters would rarely go through the KYC process just to carry out their dirty work against the project and the community. Verification is something that early supporters have already done, and it acts as a natural barrier to bad actors.
