Ideas to Improve the WLFI App Interface

Hello WLFI community, this is Fubi.

While I may not have strong expertise in finance, as a user of the WLFI app and a token holder, I believe there’s value in sharing feedback from a user experience (UX) perspective. After all, one of the most direct ways to contribute to the community’s growth is by helping to improve the tools we all use to engage with it.

Here are some thoughts and suggestions I’d like to offer based on my experience using the app. I’ll keep it simple and straight to the point:

  1. Add multilingual support (Localization) Currently, the app is only available in English, which can be a barrier for users from non-English-speaking countries. I recommend adding support for major languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Even better, consider allowing the community to contribute to translations, which could foster greater global engagement and inclusion.

  2. Introduce theme and background color options (Theme Customization) The current all-black background is minimalistic, but it can feel too stark or monotonous, especially during daytime use. Offering users the option to switch to a light mode or a softer color palette could significantly improve visual comfort. Allowing theme customization would also give the app a more flexible and personalized brand experience.

  3. Redesign the navigation and menu structure (Information Architecture) The current menu layout can feel a bit cluttered and unintuitive. Important functions are sometimes buried under too many layers, which makes navigation frustrating. A clearer information hierarchy, based on user journeys and behavioral data, could help prioritize key features and simplify the flow for both new and returning users.

  4. Improve the community comment section (Community Interaction Design) At the moment, the comment section feels disorganized. It’s difficult to follow conversations or track replies, and there’s no notification system, keyword search, or sorting options.

  5. Add onboarding and interactive hints for new users (Onboarding & Micro-interactions) The app currently lacks a proper onboarding experience for first-time users. There are no guided tours or contextual tips to help people understand the app’s layout or key features. Adding a simple onboarding flow—along with micro-interactions like subtle animations, button feedback, or feature highlights—can go a long way in improving usability and engagement.

These are some suggestions I wanted to share from a UX-focused perspective. I truly believe that listening to user feedback and continuously improving the experience is key to building a powerful, inclusive platform for the entire WLFI community.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts too!
